Eyeshadow Palette steal!

Hi guys! A few days ago, I bought a few eyeshadow palettes from Carousell and I tell ya, it is a freaking steal! It's of course preloved palettes but who cares? It's almost brand new considering the previous owner only swatched all the palettes. Heh. Here's the palette! ELF 24K Eyeshadow Palette | Bought for RM12 ELF 32 Eyeshadow Palette | Bought for RM18 Stila Contour Palette | Bought for RM20 ELF Smokey Eye Palette | Bought for RM8 Please excuse the Stila palette; it's a contour palette, not an eyeshadow palette. I bought all these for only RM58. How freaking insane is that?  Gotta love all the palettes except for the ELF 32 eyeshadow palette, as the pigmentation of the shadows is so poor. You need to use a freaking huge amount of eye primer to make the color stand out. It's a waste but that's okay, it only costs RM18. Yes. The pigmentation of the rest of the palette is awesome. You don't have to use eye primer, you just

Maybelline Haul

Hi guys! Took forever to update my blog since it's Eid month, and I don't have much time to go online and post a good entry. Anyway, ain't nobody got time for my Raya story because it doesn't seem that interesting for you to know so let's jump right in to my makeup haul! Recently, I went to Watsons and accidentally found out that Maybelline just came up with new products. I was just browsing through the makeup isle and didn't have any intention to buy a single makeup item, but oh well, I failed. Technically it's not really a new product, it's just they finally released them in Malaysia.  It's the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser and Clean Express Miracle Water a.k.a Micellar water. The 22ml Baby Skin Pore Eraser costs RM57 on Luxola but I bought it at RM27 on Watsons as it's on sale so I'm not entirely sure on it's actual price. Whereas the Micellar water costs RM19.90. Texture-wise, the pore eraser has the silicony te

Makeup Revolution Iconic Palette

Hey all! So today I'm gonna be rambling about my another makeup steal (hehe) which is the Makeup Revolution Iconic Palettes! As usual, I got it at the Carousell and of course it's preloved *cough, please excuse me for having the habit to grab preloved stuffs*. It's super cheap! How can you not buy it when the previous owner only used it no more than 5%? Pfft dang gurls you gotta grab it as fast as you can *snap fingers* The RSP on www.makeuprevolution.my is RM32 for each palette, but I got mine for only RM15 each. Half the original price! Such a win. So here are ze lovely palettes! Makeup Revolution Iconic Palettes in Essential Mattes and Essential Shimmers And this is the Essential Matte palette.  The pigmentation is pretty good considering there is no eye primer being applied on my hand. The pigmentation of the shadows is great despite having no eye primer application at all. But all shimmery shadows are pigmented anyways, just wanted to s

Carousell Haul

Hello fellow readers!  So it has been ages since my last entries, and I apologise for that! Can't help it guys because it's been a very bad days for us Sabahan as earthquakes still going on, although it only happens occasionally. I'll get back to the earthquake topic for the next entry.  Anyways, I have a lot of things to share to you guys! It's a steal, guys. I bought a few high end makeups and a few from drugstores for only a small amount of money!! Can you believe it?! It's crazy but hey, a girl can never let go any steal from the preloved-sales. I need to have 'em all on my vanity.  So the first steal is the combo of Estee Lauder  Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup Foundation in 5W1 Warm Bronze and Estee Lauder Cyber White EX Advances Brightening GelCreme Makeup in Warm Honey. Estee Lauder Double Wear RSP: RM208 Got it for RM20 ONLY! And I bought the Cyber White for RM10, it's a sample size.  It is a freaking steal!  This is the

Clear up your acne with a proper diet.

Look at how adorable the veggies are? Except, you have to avoid the spicy chillies at all cost to get a clear skin, at all cost. Or probably just reduce the intake of spicy food. Spicy food is not good for your skin as it will cause breakouts. There are a few tips you need to live by if you want to have a flawless, clear skin. And one of it is you must watch out your everyday meal. All kinds of food that we consume have its pros and cons, and if you are unlucky enough, it will cause severe skin problem such as pimples and acne. Avoid eating too much of a dairy product, food with high sugar level, any food that contains too much soy, peanuts and lastly, avoid drinking too much coffee. I have to admit that I am a die hard fan of coffee and dairy product. And in fact, I'm still taking a whole lot of coffee these days, I just can't stop myself. I'm a coffee person. Probably, that's why my acne is not reducing. It's still there, on my face, because I keep on t

New Macbook Case!

I just picked up my parcel today and I'm so excited! This is like my first online purchase of the year and I think I'm gonna have to worry about what going to happen in the near future; more online purchase. I'M DEAD and going to be broke, all over again. But hey, sekali sekala apa salahnya lol. The feeling of getting the parcel on my hand is outrageous, I can't describe the feeling. It's the best feeling one can ever had. Anyways, thanks to the @qscollection from Instagram! Bought this macbook case with @qscollection and it reached early than expected. Good thing though!  Also, thanks for the Hello Kitty mouse pad free gift! You have no idea how much I love Hello Kitty. Not really, but I love HK. This is what the case looks like, cute isn't it? Been searching for a good case with cheaper price for a really long time and so far this is one good case. I like the glossy touch, it makes my mac look so divine.  I just can't help but to put

Maybelline ClearSmooth All In One Shine Free Cake Powder

So today I went out with my parents again since there was nothing fun to do at home (The perks of being the only child living with my parents while all my siblings are residing at the far corner of the world lol). My mom went to the supermarket to buy some apples and veggies so I took the advantage and bought myself a new compact powder (which I am so desperate to have a new one since my one and only Pixy compact powder is running low). It's the Maybelline ClearSmooth ALL IN ONE Shine Free Cake Powder , with improved formulation and with SPF 32 PA+++ , a little higher compared to the previous ClearSmooth formulation. I got mine in shade 05 sand beige , the darkest one with pink undertone. I wish they have darker shade with yellow undertone (again, the perks of being an asian, yellow undertone is a must pfftt). I know Sephora has a lot of face powder with darker shades in yellow undertone, but I'm a cheapskate and I don't wear makeup on a daily basis. I ain't gonna

Safi Fruity Fresh Gel Cleanser Range

Safi just came out with a new product, which is a gel facial cleanser. It's a Fruity Fresh range and it comes with 3 different types of cleansers. The RSP is MYR 9.90 each and I bought it for MYR 7.92 each, with 20% off. There are 3 different functions:- 1. Lemon: Brightening 2. Strawberry: Oil Control 3. Grape: Revitalizing & Scrub All of these gel cleansers have the cooling sensation as it contains menthol. I personally don't like any product that contains menthol because I hate the cooling and tingling sensation. And from my opinion, menthol is not a very good skincare ingredient because it will make your skin even dryer. However, I have a super duper oily skin so my skin still can compensate the reaction.  Scent-wise; I gotta say all of the cleansers have a great scent. I like the grape scent the most. Although I usually will prefer lemon scent more, the lemon one doesn't give out the greatest lemony smell when compare to the Clean &

Simplysiti HidraVita Vitamin E Treatment Cream

Hi lovelies! Today I'm going to share with you a skincare product from Simplysiti. I bought this Simplysiti HidraVita Vitamin E Treatment Cream like a month ago but failed to post this review up in time. This is not a new product though, I just wanted to try out a new stuff and I have been liking anything about Vitamin E. It costs MYR 23.00 at Watsons, where they were having a sale because the RSP is RM33.90 and the price range will vary, depending on the outlets or drugstores. This is a pure Vitamin E cream and Vitamin E is good for skin recovery, as stated on the product. This treatment cream contains 30g of product. The picture above shows that the product come out as white, and as it blends out, it's just like a normal moisturiser. My first impression when I first put this cream on my face is, this product is a little bit oily. I'm not saying that I don't like it oily, it moisturises my face very well though. You can use it daily, and also at night. Th

Maybelline White Superfresh CC Cream

This post should be up last week but I'm super tired for no reason. So I bought this CC cream last week at Watsons for MYR 27.30. I believe the price differs for a few cents with each drugstore but it won't go above MYR 30. This is their newest product from the White Superfresh line and it only has 1 shade, which is kinda sucks though. It has SPF 37 PA +++, dermatology-tested, allergy-tested, non-comedogenic, and suitable for sensitive skin .  This CC cream claims to whiten skin effectively and inhibit melanin production overtime. It also claims to instantly brightens and evens out skin tone, smoothes and blends away imperfection . This product also claims to be lightweight for daily application.  The photo above is the swatch. Excuse my skin tone, my skin tone is a little bit darker for this CC cream, which is why I hate the fact that this product only has 1 shade. Although it can match your skin tone by color correcting, but if your skin tone is a little

My Current Skincare Routine

First of all, I’d like to tell you guys that I have an oily skin type, acne-prone. My skin used to be only oily. However, due to hormonal imbalance and stress, I developed a new skin type, which is acne-prone. I have difficulties in finding a good product that suits my skin problem.  So, this is my current skincare routine.  FACE WASH - Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser - Clean & Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Wash - Clean & Clear Fruit Essentials Facial Cleanser Cetaphil is a really gentle facial wash, which I really like because it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and it doesn’t break me out, never. I use it every time I wash my face, day and night. I use the cetaphil first before I’m going with the Clean & Clear.  I use the Clean & Clear Fruit Essentials Facial Cleanser only every morning, just because it really wakes me up with its citrusy scent. I love the scent so much and I like the fact that the cleanser doesn’t really foam up. Sometimes fo

Blog Introduction

I promise that this introduction is going to be really brief and short. Promise! This blog is created to share out some info about skincare, skin problems, and makeups. I have a major problem with my skin as my skin is an acne-prone and very oily. Everything about my skin is wrong and I've been having this difficulty since mid 2012. Throughout the years, I've gained a lot of awareness of how important it is to take a good care of our skin especially our face because facial expression, skin and everything about face is the first thing to be noticed when we interact with other people. Which is sucks when you have a problematic skin, you have to cover all the imperfection every time you go out of the house.  You will gain a few knowledge about skincare and skin problems on this blog. I am not a licensed aesthetician nor am I a dermatologist, I wish I was but I'm not. I'm just a 22 year-old girl struggling to find the answer to the secret of a clear skin. I rea
